Pale Leaf Yucca is a small, trunkless evergreen yucca whose pale blue-green leaves form a low rosette sitting almost directly on the ground. In late spring it sends up a flowering stalk well above the foliage, carrying pale green to cream, bell-shaped blooms that open at night for moths. It grows in full sun to part shade on clay soil that drains well, tolerating dry conditions once established, and is endemic to clay prairie of north-central Texas and adjacent limestone slopes.
