Pink Evening Primrose

Pink Evening Primrose is a low, spreading perennial wildflower with erect to sprawling stems bearing fragrant, bowl-shaped white flowers that fade to rosy pink as they age. Blooms two to three inches across open in the evening and close by late morning, appearing from late spring into summer. It spreads by creeping underground roots and self-sown seed to form large colonies in full sun to light shade, tolerating dry, poor and well-drained ground with little maintenance once established.
