Halberdleaf Rosemallow is a fast-growing, clump-forming herbaceous perennial in the mallow family, named for its smooth, arrow-shaped leaves. Large, showy pink or white flowers with a maroon throat, roughly 3 inches across, open from late spring into fall and draw butterflies and other pollinators. A wetland native, it thrives in consistently moist to occasionally wet, fertile ground in full sun to partial shade, along stream banks, lake margins and floodplain pools.
