Desert Willow

Desert Willow is a small deciduous tree or large shrub with slender willow-like leaves and an open, often leaning, twisted-trunk habit. From late spring through fall it covers itself in fragrant, trumpet-shaped pink, lavender or white flowers that draw hummingbirds and butterflies, followed by long slender seed pods that persist into winter. It thrives in full sun on dry, well-drained ground including rocky, sandy or clay soils, and needs almost no supplemental water once established.
